quilted stockings for the family, part two

more stockings! in addition to new stockings for myself and the mister, both of the girlies got new stockings this year too. and yes, i did make them both new stockings last year... but i ended up donating them to Hopeful Threads Stockings of Cheer last november, so we needed *new* new stockings. these things tend to happen around here...

K chose a fab Anna Maria print (from innocent crush) for her stocking. it's an all-time favorite of mine, so i'm happy to have it hanging on the mantel year after year. sometimes it feels good to use something you've been hoarding :) the accent fabrics are Bloomsbury Gardens by Liberty Lifestyle and New Leaf by Daisy Janie.

for both girls' stockings, i used a variation of this personalize stockings with felt tutorial. instead of using felt and fabric adhesive, i traced the letters in reverse on the paper side of Pellon 805 Wonder-Under®, fused it to the wrong side of fabric, and then cut out around drawn line. i machine stitched in the center of the letters after fusing the fabric to the stockings. both names are cut from Michael Miller's mirror ball dots collection, so they have a bit of a sheen to them.

B liked one of the falling flakes stockings i had already made up, so that was a win! fabrics all from Winterkist by Happy Zombie.
