  3. OMG...I "sew" want to do this! I was just thinking about a gift exchange the other day and trying to come up for a reason to get people to do it. This is perfect. It's sad when the holidays are over and all the gift exchanges are behind us. Oh please, oh please, pick me! www.GeminiRedCreations.com

    1. Oh dear! I forgot to convince you that you should pick me! Well...I'm a born and bred Midwest girl so I am nice and prompt but I live in New Jersey now so that means I have a bit of a cynical edge that is mostly funny. So, I will be polite, prompt and make you laugh! Pretty good deal, huh? Also, I come from a long line of sewists and even have yards and yards of the lace my grandmother used to use to make her own lingerie. I've been sewing for a long time but only started to take it very seriously a few years ago when I left my job to be a part-time sewist/sewing teacher and full-time parent.

  10. Rachael, I'm not sure my blog is "active" enough, but I'd love co-host. Such a fun group of hosts you've already compiled! If you pick me, I promise to make a fabulous handmade prize, and to meticulously cut and paste. ;) And really, I'm just excited you're doing this again, since I missed the last one. I'll definitely be participating this time (co-host or not)!

  11. Rachel -- I would enjoy the opportunity to be considered for this swap team. I am a regular blogger at http://karmawillowdesigns.blogspot.com/ and have been looking for more opportunities to become in online swaps. (it looks like from the line up you guys need another R person to have 2 of each letter -- but K is like R with the top cut off). If not chosen I would still like to partisipate in the swap and look forward to more details coming soon.

  19. I would love to co-host! You can find me at www.lorihdesigns.com. I love the idea of donating a prize, I have been wanting to give back to the quilting community lately. And I have been wanting to participate in a blog event since Heidi and I ended the Long Weekend Event. I wasn't able to participate in the last round but I loved following along!

  20. Add me to the list please! I blog at sewingnovice.com. I would love to co-host so I can show my followers that the blogging community is so much fun and that even though we make our own handmade items that it can also be fun to receive them. The most difficult decision is going to be what to make! I'm sure there will be some hard competition (even though it's not a competition). :) I also can't wait to see what every makes or to find out who I get to make something for!
