a big thanks to all of you who've been sewing along with merrily we sew along! Kelley made this beautiful second set of placemats, and i've been inspired by the beautiful versions showing up in the flickr group.
because thanksgiving is quickly approaching, we decided to extend the due date for project one: improv placemats by one week, so you now have up until the end of november 21st to enter your project for a chance to win some very awesome prizes! Aurifil is giving a Simply Color collection set (that's over 17,000 yards of 50wt thread, folks!!!) and we also have a set of four fabulous craft books (including improv sewing) from Storey Publishing.

ReplyDeleteHmm, somehow I'd missed this challenge, but I was thinking I needed some placemats for food styling for the food blog, so maybe I need to put all my other commitments to one side and work on some instead ;o)
