shorts on the line: week one recap

phew! the first week of shorts on the line was one heck of a whirlwind for me. beyond coordinating the guest posts and a bit of my own sewing, we had a power outage that resulted in an extended air conditioning outage. yes, during a week where we hit three all-time heat records. and now i seem to have some throat affliction and fever. geez. but enough whiny me!
