this video is from the actual first show we went to together, november 3, 2010 at the beachland ballroom. i can still remember the feeling of standing there in the audience, watching these exact moments. i remember feeling like it was my sunny day, like no other day would ever be the same as it had been, like something really great was happening. i remember looking at nick and seeing the smile on his face and hearing him tell me later how lovely it was to watch and listen to me singing along.

you can walk into our house most days and hear someone singing or humming any one of these songs. these are songs we dance to in the living room, sing along with in the car, and each one makes me smile every time i hear it. these are the songs that have combined to form our perfect soundtrack for falling in love.

a year ago today, i ended up right where i was always meant to be. every day, my journey continues right here, alongside nick and our girlies... creating, growing, inspiring, and being inspired. i am so very lucky to be here.
