rethink, refashion, re-wear: episode one?

you know how sometimes you are just positive that there are plenty of articles/blog posts/tutorials on the interwebs about *fill in the blank*, but when you go to look for them, you start wondering if you just made the whole thing up? and maybe you remember a little about some photos but you can't get a google search to cooperate with "girl cute pants blond hair red shirt"? whether you have or haven't, let me tell you that it's really annoying.

inspired by some of the great clothing re-dos i saw last week during kcwc fall 2011, i decided to search for some new ways to rethink, refashion, and re-wear clothes (specifically for the kiddos). which gave me the idea to do a little link-up of some of the ideas i found floating around out there in cyberspace. i'm hoping that this will (besides helping me keep track of things) give you some fun ideas, introduce you to some lovely blogs and folks you maybe haven't met before, remind you about some great posts from some time back that we've all forgotten, and/or inspire you to share with us your favorite re-do suggestions.
