photos, photos, everywhere....

i'm sure i'm not the only one who has ended up with albums and photos virtually everywhere. or virtual photos everywhere? i think both. so i've been trying to get everything to my flickr stream. unlike pretty much everyone else in the world, i didn't manage to get into the flickr thing until recently and i like it much better than the others i've used in the past, especially for posting pics to the blog, tagging, sharing, etc.

so i just thought i'd share a few recent album uploads in case you're new around here or not a fan on facebook (*hint hint*), and maybe haven't seen some of these projects before.

summer scarves. somewhere, i started a tutorial for these a few months ago. worth pursuing? maybe. if you'd like to see one, let me know and i'll try to find it :)

fayettes. a few additions to the album from the way-back-machine. i'm working on a small crew at the moment and hope to have those pics added soon as well.

custom birth prints. inspired to make some fun and personalized artwork to hang in my girlies' bedrooms and also gift to friends (my friends have the most adorable kiddos, i'm telling you!), i started coming up with some different variations of custom birth prints. every once in a while i find myself unable to look my sewing machine in the face, and photoshop provides a nice break ;)

i made this print for my cousin Mindi's little boy Gavin: (note that all pertinent details... last name, date, location, etc. have been changed)

custom birth print: wood grain

this fun giraffe print was made for my friend Jess to coordinate with her little guy's nursery:

you can see more in my birth prints flickr set, or place your own order on my etsy site. they make great gifts for new moms, first birthdays, or just because :)

recap: let me know if you want a scarf tutorial, be a fan on facebook, birth prints make great gifts, and fayettes... well, they're awfully darn cute.
