more handprinted fabric: whales!

ok, i think i am in love with these little guys :) i made a few changes this time.

different kind of blocks for carving...

you can see more of the lovely things people have been printing for the swap (hosted by Leslie Keating of onegirl designwrks) in the handprinted: fabric flickr group. in addition to my assigned four swappers (more info about them posted here), i'm doing a bit of an extended swap with Cassie of elegantitus, who has been doing some fun screenprinting experimentation.


i'm loving these spools and thread. and... if anyone else wants to get in on the extended swap action, let me know!

  1. very cute! I loved whales when I was younger ( still do, but not in the, "my favorite color's purple, I like kitties and unicorns and sugar and LOVE LOVE LOVE whales!"... way) wish I had gotten in on this earlier, be sure to tell me when you find interesting link up parties!

  4. thanks, all! alexis - i'm using pebeo setacolor, and it does require heat-setting. oh, and kelley - unicorns are awesome (duh!) ;)
