kcwc wrap-up and more favorites

this final installment of kcwc fall 2011 inspirations is brought to you by some very adorable kiddos...

you can click on any of the pics to visit some fabulous blogs and let these folks know how awesome you think their projects are too :)

what a great week this has been! it's been so much fun to "meet" so many new crafty people and i've gotten so many new ideas just looking through the flickr group. huge thanks to Meg for putting it all together and keeping us inspired. (and if you haven't yet visited the elsie marley blog, go now! and meg's wrap-up post is up now as well... check it out for some more inspiration.)

i finished most of what i set out to do... two audrey capes, new flannel pjs for both of the girlies, and an upcycled shirt/dress for K have all been completed. the family reunion dress for B is at least halfway done, so hopefully i'll get that finished soon. right after i take a night off ;) seven days of sewing means that my fingers and back (and probably my machine) need a little break.

  2. Hey thanks for picking my apple picking shirt!! You did an amazing job this past week...I was a bit more laid back about it all...read...slow moving...but I am so happy with my pieces (and I have more in the works, but some other things first...) Looking forward to seeing B's family reunion dress after your little rest!
